On 4 April 2013 in Hanoi, the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) in cooperation with the International Labour Organization (ILO) to conduct a consultation workshop on “formulation of national plan action of the prevention and elimination of the worst form of child labour in Viet Nam”. Co-chairpersons of the workshop are Dr. Nguyen Hai Huu, Director of the Child Protection & Care Department (MOLISA), Mdm. Maribeth E. Casi, The Director of the Department Labour & Employment of the Phillipines, Mr. Gyorgy Janos Sziaczki, Director of ILO office in Vietnam.

On the Implementation of the Law on children protection, care and education to ensure the survival and development of children, the Ministry of Labour - Invalids and Social Affairs in collaboration with the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) in Vietnam held a Workshop on the discussion of solutions to support mothers in breastfeeding children completely in the first 6 months after giving birth.
